Little Christian and I went to see cousin David in his school Halloween parade in the morning which was adorable. I don't think I've ever taken so many pictures of other people's kids, but you put a costume on a kid and I go crazy! David had a multiple costume day, he spent the morning as Thomas (of course) and sort of threw his Mommy for a loop when he said he wanted to be the robot for Trick-or-Treat time - this was the almost-finished costume that he INITIALLY wanted to be, before he swung back to Thomas. So, he had two wardrobe changes, as did his little cousin.
Christian got "stuffed" into his pea-in-a-pod costume which he outgrew in just a few short weeks after we got it from a friend at work. Our back up costume was an orange fuzzy tigger one piece which we tried to put on him at the parade and broke the zipper... SO, Pop-Pop and I re-packed Christian into his original costume and out to the parade we went. Luckily he was a good sport despite the wardrobe malfunctions.
After we spent some time with Pop-Pop and David at his school, we went to Grandmom & Grandpop Vai's for lunch. We spent a few hours there, took a brief nap at Pop-Pop's house, then went to a big Halloween party at my Uncle Bob's house. It turned out to be a very nice day - I can't remember the last time where I had a day off with no particular agenda!!! Here are some photos from our day together.
